Description
The ultimate fear known to humanity is the fear of death and of the dead returning to haunt and plague the still living. Premiering in 1997, The Necrotorium™ is a harrowing, fright-filled journey through the rotting crypts, desecrated tombs and claustrophobic catacombs of a crumbling, fog-shrouded, classically Gothic cemetery. It is within this grim existence that patrons must confront the certainty of their own demise as well as the most shocking living dead ever to have returned from their horrible graves. Lurking here in the cold and morose depths are ghastly ghouls and decaying zombies who hunger for more than a final resting place...
The Terrortorium™, which opened in 1996, is a darksome dominion in which patrons are forced to witness the most demented scenes of fright imaginable! Consumed with an overwhelming sense of dread, horrified guests must make their way through this remorseless maze, so grotesque to behold, that only the bravest of souls will survive. Fear abounds here as you gaze upon the most gruesome displays of maniacal horror ever presented to the public!
Established in 2000, the 3-D Hallucinatorium™ brings patrons into an unfathomable realm of 3 dimensional hysteria! This exclusive attraction which utilizes ChromaDepth™ technology will surely send shivers up anyone's spine. A place so mysterious and sinister as this third attraction at Dallas ScareGrounds is truly unexplainable, and must be experienced first-hand for its relentless terror to be fully acknowledged.
ALL NEW FOR 2010!
OUR MONSTER MAZE HAS MOVED INDOORS and has a theme all its own.... I scream, you scream, we all scream for NIGHT SCREAM! Driven by his lust for cold blooded murder, Pop Sickle cruises the streets in his Ice Cream Truck, searching for victims to serve up in his tasty frozen treats.

Additional Info
Once known as Dr. Blood's® ScreamScapes™, Dallas ScareGrounds™ has hosted several special events over the years. In 1997, the United States Postal Service chose the creepy atmosphere at Dallas ScareGrounds™ to unveil their line of classic Universal Studios Monsters™ postage stamps. 1998 featured Laserfrights™, a psycho-delic lobby light show of unimaginable splendor. In 1999, to help celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of the horror classic "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", Dallas ScareGrounds™ hosted a Texas Chainsaw Barbecue, starring Gunnar Hansen, the actor who portrayed the original Leatherface. Included in this celebration and performing in the lobby was local Dallas "death lounge" band and Last Beat Records recording artist The Necro-Tonz. The year 2000 brought about the introduction of the all-new 3-D Hallucinatorium™, a bizarre and terrifying realm of three dimensional hysteria! And, in 2001, we introduced our FestEvil! - a great way to "kill" time and gather your courage before begining your journey into the macabre!
Dallas ScareGrounds was voted "BEST HAUNTED HOUSE" in 1998 & 2003 by the Dallas Observer. In 1999, we were recognized as one of the country's "BEST SEASONAL HAUNTS" by American Way magazine. And, in 2001, were named "BEST HAUNTED HOUSE" in the Metroplex by dfw.LifeOnTheNet.com.
